Automobiles in German City Discovered Smeared with Nazi Symbols in Human Blood, Law Enforcement State

Authorities mentioned they were contacted by a individual who noticed a car in Hanau smeared with red-colored substance

Approximately fifty automobiles have been covered with what seems to be blood from a person in the Germany's town of Hanau in proximity to Frankfurt, according to police.

Cars, walls and postboxes were defaced, sometimes with prohibited symbols, they stated in a statement.

Law enforcement say they were alerted late on Wednesday night, when a man noticed that a automobile in the Lamboy district of Hanau had been smeared with a reddish-hued liquid.

The substance had been applied in the shape of a swastika, they added.

Police then found numerous other smeared cars and building exteriors in the adjacent neighborhood.

These symbols are illegal in Germany under legislation outlawing the public exhibition of symbols from the Nazi era.

Officials say initial examinations indicate the substance was likely human bodily fluid.

"There is still no clue as to where it came from; authorities are not yet informed of any physical harm in association with the event," they commented.

City officials stated they were attempting "to unravel the mystery" and have appealed to the public for information.

A high-ranking official stated the incident left him stunned and required to be solved rapidly.

"This event affects the core of Hanau and reopens the trauma of the right-wing violent incident in 2020," he wrote on a platform, referring to the death of nine individuals by a gunman focusing on individuals of immigrant origin in February 2020.
