The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-bout fight which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "overpower" the American as the combatants confronted each other to promote the upcoming bout.
Ex two-time unified boxing king Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami venue on 19 December.
Fighter's Mindset
"I will injure his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove my superiority," Joshua, 35, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to genuinely try to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Civil Interaction
Despite those words, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally known for his dramatics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul rather criticized ex Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and called him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian declined a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, criticized British opponent Fury - and refused a large bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul win.
"[Paul] outshines Fury - he's present here," the boxer stated.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Opponent
Despite stating he plans to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to talk badly about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He lost to Briton Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
Nevertheless, the novice continues to be one of boxing's biggest commercial attractions, regularly earning substantial financial rewards.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old anticipated a stoppage in rounds four or five and stated he would stop the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly under discussion for two years from now.
"The next fight will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.
Size Disparity
As both boxers engaged in the usual confrontation, with their size difference evident, it drove home just how unlikely this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the match is really going ahead.
